Looking For Good Parenting Skills? Here Are The 4 Pillars of Successful Parenting.I promised I’d give you practical training for your parenting challenge. Remember? I also promised to deliver a tried and proven process you could count on to overcome problems in raising you kids. I also told you that cultivating good parenting skills is essential to boost your children’s possibilities of success and happiness. All right. Here it is. Let us start with the 4 basic and essential skills for any parent. 1. Spending time with you children Really, there’s no substitute for this one. You must spend quality time with your kids. I suggest at least 4 nights a week and 1 full day on the weekend. Doing things that they enjoy with you. I heard someone say that to children, love is spelled T.I.M.E. 2. Discipline There is no good parenting without discipline. Loving teaching and training is what discipline should mean. This skill is hard to master and one art that is being lost today. Nonetheless, it’s still a pillar for successful parenting. 3. Good communication with your children Communication is really the vehicle that brings you to your final destination of effective parenting. You have goals as a parent. Your ability to communicate well with your children will help you reach your goal. The art of listening and being an approachable parent are among the finest qualities that parents need to lead their children. 4. Be the sample Someone asked a wise man if being a sample was indeed a good way of teaching and developing influence with other. To what he answered: “Is there any other way?!!” You must be a sample of the principles practices that you want your children to follow. “Is there any other way?” But the 4 skills mentioned are at the core of successful parenting. They can take you a lifetime to master. And I don’t know if you’re ready for some of the other powerful secrets I’ve gathered. Here's How To Jumpstart Your Parenting In The Right WayThe first step is to become aware of these skills. Write them down now. Read them and say uh huh… every once in a while. Think about them. Imagine how it would be to practice these skills and have them at the core of your relationship with your kids. It will impact your life. It will influence their life for the best. Learning never ends…Wanna hear a variation of one of my favourite quotes on learning? “When the student is ready… he should go and knock at the teacher’s door until he opens it” And what does that mean for you? Go and think about these skills, meditate on them and come back for more powerful parenting secrets.
