What makes an Uneducated Maverick

According to the dictionary, being a maverick means being independent in thought. In other words, it means you refuse to think like everyone else. You don't really rely on others to provide you with an opinion to follow.

You are entitled to form your own opinion. Preferably through exercising your own observation and critical thinking. Uneducated means that you embrace the fact that you don't have to be rich in formal, recognized education by the standards that most people judge to be "education".

You don't need a stack of diplomas in order to feel or appear to have knowledge or to be able to produce results in a certain field of knowledge.

Bluntly...

An uneducated maverick is someone that refuses to think and follow every one else's reasoning just because they are considered educated.

Thinking is a function that belongs to all.

My approach to parenting has to do with giving back to parents the confidence that was stolen from them, and help them understand that they are the best teachers and mentors to their children.

Parents know their kids, they have the ability to raise them well. They don't have to have everything explained to them by the experts. They can appreciate the experts help but they don't need to be told everything about parenting as if they didn't know anything.

There...I've said it.
